DESIGNING
YOUR
DIGITAL LANDSCAPE

TRINA COLLINS

I’m passionate about all things creative – design, multimedia, user experience, sound, visual arts and ethical marketing. Over the years, I’ve built a solid foundation in design, business operations, and creative direction, crafting content that not only looks great but also tells a story and connects with people.

For over 20 years, I worked as a visual artist and designer under the name Poncho Army, collaborating with councils, schools, and businesses across Australia. My love for community-driven art has always been at the heart of what I do. My work today is focused mainly in the digital and print realm, however I love to incorporate my visual art skills to create unique, authentic and stunning digital designs.

From 2013 to 2022, I ran Anchors Aweigh Art Studio as a sole trader, where I taught art and inspired creativity as well as providing graphic design, multimedia, screen printing and mural services. During the COVID lockdowns, I pivoted online and taught over 21,000 students through an LMS—crazy times, but incredibly rewarding!

When I’m not working on design and audio projects, you’ll find me soaking up life’s little pleasures: gardening, catching the stars on a clear night, walking on the shorelines, listening to some good tunes (currently on repeat: Emily Wurramara, Fugazi, Cat Power, and DJ Shadow, or enjoying a plate of Mexican food or a bowl of noodles. I love good conversations over a cuppa, the simple things bring the most joy.

If you have a project, please feel free to get in contact.
