For Mem Davis & The Kindred Spirits’ debut EP, I handled the CD wallet layout and disc design. Using supplied photographs, I edited the imagery in Photoshop, crafted custom typography in Illustrator, and compiled the final layout in InDesign. The design aimed to reflect the band’s raw, heartfelt songwriting and the socially conscious themes that Mem Davis explores in her music. Known for her poignant tales of love, loss, and resilience, Mem Davis’ work with multi-instrumentalist Luke Collings captures a deep sense of intimacy and purpose, making the design process a rewarding challenge to visually represent their sound.
