Client: Felucca

For Felucca’s debut album Pierrot, the band sought a unique visual representation of their modern jazz approach. They requested the incorporation of an original artwork by Pippa Marie but wanted it creatively fragmented. To achieve this, I made copies of the artwork, tore it into parts, and constructed a textured collage, blending diverse elements such as typewriter text, photos, various paper types, ink, glue, and tape. The final design, which includes distressed effects, was scanned and refined in the Adobe Suite for both the album artwork and disc design. This layered, hands-on technique mirrors Felucca’s fusion of jazz with rock sensibilities—tastefully modern, yet grounded in tradition.
